Welcome to the Christmas Cracker 2005 page.

In 2005 - all family members are required to produce a Homemade Christmas Cracker in time for Christmas dinner.

Yes, it certainly sounds like a daunting task, but you have over 360 days to complete this festive craft project.

This site has been set up for those of you who need a little help getting started.

You'll find all the information you'll need to build a Christmas Cracker that will make others green with envy.

Christmas Cracker Specifications

1. Cracker must be homemade

2. Cracker must be made from a standard paper towel roll

3. Cracker must contain one homemade paper hat

4. Cracker must contain one joke sheet* with 3 jokes (translation optional)

5. Cracker must contain one homemade gift

6. Cracker must contain one cracker snapper

7. Cracker must be decorated to the best of the cracker maker's ability

* Joke sheet may also include trivia, proverbs or other words of wisdom. Note: Sports trivia is not allowed.
